Bio & Contact

My name is Pierre Baudin, I recently finished my PhD at the University of California, Santa Cruz. There I was affiliated with the Teodorescu Lab and the Braingeneers Group within the Genomics Institute where my work primarily centered on automated image aquisition for cerebral organoids and broad biolaboratory automation through the Internet of Things.

I design systems from the ground up to solve practical problems. My work involves the design of mechanical systems, custom electronics, embedded software, and full-stack web applications. I approach problems from a holistic perspective, intent on selecting the corrrect design domain for the task, and always with an eye towards scalability and user friendliness.

I am currently seeking a position working on neurotechnology subjects like BCI, neurostimulation, neuroprosthetics and brain imaging. I am also interested in positions working on scientific instruments and technology to address climate issues Please reach out if you have any opportunities or questions.
